My girlfriend has the figure of a glamour model, is hot in bed and is every man’s dream – but I can’t stay faithful to her. I’m 25 and broke up with an earlier girlfriend a year ago. We ended on bad terms.

I’ve only seen that ex once since then and she was with someone else. That hit me so hard. I still think about her every day and I miss her loads. Since we parted I’ve been making some very bad choices in life, mostly about women.

The worst was that I started a no-strings affair with my sister’s best friend. It was just drunken sex and it lasted for two months. I knew it was wrong but I thought it would help me get over my ex. It didn’t.

I later moved on to another poor girl who deserved so much better than me — but I bumped into my sister’s friend on a night out and she told me I’d got her pregnant and that she’d had an abortion without telling me.

I was shocked that she hadn’t come to me for help. I felt very ashamed but it was too late and there wasn’t a thing I could do. I’ve been seeing my current girlfriend for a couple of months. She is 23 and so gorgeous and hot that I should be head over heels, but I’m not.

She’s just a distraction and I keep having one-night stands.

I’ve felt empty inside ever since I lost my ex. I’ve turned into someone I hardly recognise. I know that my ex has moved on and I won’t get her back, but she’s still on my mind all the time. Please tell me, what can I do to move on?

I really want to find someone who I can connect with completely. I want things to change.
